Good News Letter From East West
Dear Hallsley Residents, Builders, Agents & Friends,
We wanted to thank you for the tremendous success we have had in 2015. Our business is built customer-by-customer, one lot, one home and one family at a time. Every day in Hallsley, we bear witness to the smiles, successes, thoughtful suggestions, and generosity that reflect the core of East West’s guiding principles of Designing and Delighting our customers. To that end, we truly strive to build communities that we ourselves would live in.
Some highlights:
•We do in fact have TWO employees moving into Hallsley in 2016! (Names being withheld for privacy. We are confident they will introduce themselves in due time and will make wonderful additions to the community!)
•Despite the Richmond market being flat, Hallsley wrote 160 contracts in 2015!! Up from 100 sales in 2014.
•The above number represents $100,000,000 in sales volume in one year. The first time in 10 years that has occurred in Richmond and one of only a few times in Richmond’s history that it has occurred!
•We hosted Massey Street of Hope. With your help, Hallsley raised $1,000,000 for charity. A truly momentous occasion and undertaking. Thank you for your support.
•Hallsley just received a Best Community Spirit Silver Award from the National Association of Home Builders for the Massey Street of Hope in their national sales and marketing awards competition. Check it out here as we go for the Gold in Vegas!!
•Hallsley will be hosting the 2016 Homearama with nine highly anticipated homes.
•Hallsley welcomed two new preferred builders in 2015. Please join us in welcoming Timbercreek and Southern Traditions to the Hallsley Family.
•Last but not least, Hallsley was voted The Best Community AGAIN by Richmond Magazine in 2015.
Items of Note:
•We have free wireless internet, games, coffee, snacks, books, newspapers, dog treats etc. at the clubhouse and have for some time. Please ask Jane, Bobby or Brenda while there and they can help you connect if you are having trouble.
•Bocce Ball, Corn hole, Frisbee’s, and equipment for pickle ball etc. are located in a storage box behind one of the playhouses for your enjoyment.
•We introduced temporary speed bumps in active neighborhoods to curtain the construction traffic we are all concerned about. These speed bumps will move from neighborhood to neighborhood as construct ebbs and flows.
•Based on this year’s survey results, we have or are attempting to implement the following: ◦We introduced a second Age-Targeted Maintenance Provided neighborhood called Berkeley Park. Please visit Garden Walk Park at Saville Park, if you haven’t already.
◦We are phasing out of the Haven’s product type. We held our last pre-sale program for these neighborhoods in September. On the first day of the pre-sale, 25 of the 31 home sites were sold. We still have a few home sites left so please let your friends know! Contact Bobby or Brenda at the Clubhouse for more information!
◦We will be introducing additional seating along the walking paths and Play House Village.
◦We will be starting our trail system through Hallsley’s open space to connect all of the various neighborhoods to the Residents Club. Take a look at our Hallsley Boot Camp Video, showcasing the many amenities Hallsey has to offer.
◦We are building a Gazebo at Tom Sawyer’s Pond and stocking the pond with catch and release fish.
◦Implementing seasonal decorations in addition to the norm. Hope you liked the pumpkins and mums!
◦Introducing additional up lighting at the Clubhouse to address safety concerns.
◦Working on creating a wild flower walking path along Brightwalton and working with various regulatory entities to build a boardwalk through the open space.
Happy New Year from your friends at East West Communities!
A letter from Daniel Jones, Senior Vice President of East West Communities; December 31. 2015.
