Massey Street of Hope FINAL WEEK!
The Massey Street of Hope has just one more week! Tickets are $10 each benefiting VCU Massey Cancer Center. Hours are 11 am to 6 pm daily – with extended hours on Thursdays until 8 pm for Concerts for Hope. Don’t miss these special events:
- Flat Elvis will be performing at Hallsley for a Concert For Hope on Thursday, September 24, from 5 pm to 8 pm. Tickets are $10 each. Carytown Burgers & Fries & Boka Taco, beer, andwine will be sold. Come early and tour the Street of Hope – the 8 luxury designer homes will be open for tour from 11 am to 8 pm. - R Home invites you to celebrate the launch of the newest book Loveable Liveable Home, by Richmonders John and Sherry Petersik, founder of the insanely popular DIY design blog, Young House Love, September 22 at Hallsley. The Petersiks’ new book features never-before seen makeovers in their home, doable DIY projects and shows how beautiful homes can be functional as well. Tickets to the event are $45 and include a tour of eight decorated homes along the Massey Street of Hope, a copy of the book, wine and hors d’ouevres. The event will be from 6-9 pm, with a book discussion with John and Sherry Petersik at 7 pm, followed by a book signing. All net proceeds benefit Habitat for Humanity and Massey Street of Hope. - Brought to you by the Women’s Council of Realtors, in memory of past president Karen Hoerath, the luncheon will begin at 11 am and will include fashions from Stein Mart. Tickets are $25 each and include lunch, the fashion show, raffle prizes, and an all day pass to tour the homes. Only 200 tickets will be sold. Tickets must be purchased online no later than September 22. Lite 98 radio and E. A. Holsten are sponsors of this event.
- Celebrate the Street of Hope with family fun – take a FREE ride on the Wells Fargo stagecoach both Saturday and Sunday, enjoy a live performace by the Diggity Dudes on Saturday and Betsy Q on Sunday, have your face painted by the VCU princesses, and much more.
