Toys For Tots Brings Marines To Hallsley
Eighteen months ago, John and Brittany Toler moved to Hallsley. This year was their second annual Toys For Tots event. The Toler’s home is a piece of art – architecturally, it is a hallmark home in Hallsley. Not only does it have a beautiful street appeal, but it also shines with the spirit of Christmas – it truly takes your breath away! John and Brittany invited every family in Hallsley to the community Toys For Tots event this week. Their collection from the year prior was 750 gifts, with a goal of collecting 1,000 presents this year to delight children in need! In addition to hosting the event, the Toler’s arranged for the U.S. Marines to attend in a military truck to pick up the toys. To top off the evening, the famous Santa from the Washington D.C. Mall was there to listen to the neighboring children’s Christmas wishes. What a heart-warming tradition and a worthy cause!
John and Brittany, Hallsley and many others appreciate your generosity. Thank you for hosting this wonderful event.
