Hallsley March Happenings

Hallsley Swim Clinics– Hallsley Swim Coach Christine Nevel is offering swim clinics at Woodlake Aquatic and Fitness Center on Sundays, beginning February 28th. This is a great way to get your swimmer back in the water before the summer swim season! Each Strokes clinic is $80 for 4 weeks plus a Turns clinic for $25. Your swimmer must be able to swim 25m unassisted to participate. Deadline to sign up is February 26th. Broadfork Farm CSA Sign Up Reminder- we need 7 more households to sign up for the CSA to ensure the Broadfork Farm vegetables will be delivered right to Hallsley! If you are planning on signing up, please do so now on their website: MailScanner has detected a possible fraud attempt from “click.eastwestc.com” claiming to be http://broadforkfarm.csasignup.com/members/ If you weren’t able to attend either of the information sessions, please contact Janet at Broadfork Farm at info@broadforkfarm.net as she is happy to answer all of your questions! We have to have all sign ups in by the end of February!
Ladies Paint Night with Paint ‘N Play RVA– thanks to all 62 of you who came out last Thursday night for our first ladies paint night! What a fun night! If you missed it or want to create another masterpiece and hang out with all the great ladies of Hallsley, mark your calendar for Wednesday, March 23rd for the next one! Easter Egg Extravaganza– Sunday, March 20th- save the date for the Hallsley Egg Hunt and Easter Bunny visit! More details to come!
Hallsley Uncorked Trip to The Chef’s Kitchen in Williamsburg– Saturday, April 30th- Please join Hallsley Uncorked on a culinary adventure to A Chef’s Kitchen in Williamsburg, which will include hors d’oeuvres, champagne, five course dinner, three glasses of paired wine and recipes to take home! There are only 12 spots left and we would like to fill it up with Hallsley residents! If you are interested, please call A Chef’s Kitchen directly at 757.564.8500. The cost is $84.50 per person. Please also email Jeff Seibert at jdbs2cats@gmail.com to let him know you are planning on attending. Seating is limited to 26 people so lets fill the whole place with Uncorked friends and neighbors! This promises to be a good time for all! We have a group rate at the Hilton Garden Inn in Williamsburg of $125 per night (there is a large volleyball tournament in town, so rates are even higher & some places are already booked).
